While coating the roof, we took temperature readings to see exactly what difference the Kool Seal made. Here are the results:

Galvanized metal surface temperature on the roof: 124 degrees
Same metal, with one coat of Kool Seal: 102 degrees
Kool Seal Coated Surface: 102 degrees
Uncoated Roof Surface: 124 degrees
