Once the antenna platform has been securely mounted and the cabling is firmly in place...

 

 

running the wiring for the DataStorm through the refrigerator vent

 

 

 

...it's time to run the cabling from the antenna, through the refrigerator's venting system (in order to avoid having to drill through the roof). We thought this was the best way to avoid any additional roof penetrations.

These wires were eventually fed through the refrigerator vent on the roof, down to this open compartment, which allowed us access to...
