Next, Allen Beadel of Cowtown RV, wired the two modems into the system. They work in tandem; one modem sends data and the other modem receives the satellite internet transmissions.

 

Final installation with USB hubs

 

And, completing our installation, we mounted a USB hub in the cabinet above the modems. This hub services all of our peripherals (a printer/scanner, a palm pilot downloader, and an external zip disk drive) and the modems through a single cable discreetly run to our dining room table. All peripherals are mounted on the other side of the motorhome.

 

 

 

 

 

installing the DataStorm software Next, Allen Beadel installed the DataStorm software in our laptop computer. Once the DataStorm software has been installed, we'll be able to use the laptop to raise and lower the satellite dish and to access the internet.
